We are proud and excited to announce that we are taking part in the latest European eDelivery initiative, AS4EDI. AS4EDI is a project co-financed by the European Commission within the CEF Telecom Program and is managed by INEA (Executive Agency of Innovation and Networks) through the 2018 CEF Telecom eDelivery call.
The experienced EDI providers that are collaborating to promote the use of eDelivery DSI (Digital Service Infrastructure) amongst both private and public entities in Europe are Billit, OpusCapita, Viaduct, Generix, NetEDI, and Calvi.
The initial kick-off of the project took place in January 2019, and the consortium expects to conclude the project in June 2020. The Universitat de València (University of Valencia) and the LMT Group (Leading Management Technology Group) are responsible for the coordination of the project.
Goal of the project
The main goal of the participants of the project is to integrate the AS4 protocol into six certified PEPPOL Access Points from different Member States of the European Union (Finland, Sweden, France, UK, Belgium, and The Netherlands). As a result of this, the cross-border exchange of electronic documents will become available for many public as well as private European entities that are already using the eDelivery services provided by the participating experts.
It is Calvi's goal to actively promote the use of eDelivery services amongst its customers and partners. eDelivery allows users to save time and money, while simultaneously increasing interoperability and security. You can read more about the project and its scope on the official website.
