How leading Service Providers are keeping us connected

The world has been disrupted by COVID-19 - better known as the Coronavirus. More than a million people have been infected, healthcare professionals are fighting for the lives of those infected, unemployment is rising, and companies are going out of business. This pandemic affects everyone, but the world is not at a standstill. Across the globe, people are making it work from home.
One thing that many people are taking for granted in this time of increased Netflix browsing and online meeting & living, are the unsung heroes in the Telecom industry. These are the people that are enabling us to stay in touch with family, friends, and coworkers. These are also the people whose companies are risking their financial situation by extending a helping hand when we need it the most. And they are doing a hell of a job.
In this article, we would like to share some measures taken by several leading Service Providers to keep their customers connected while at home. Some of these measures were shared by participants of the ETIS Smart Charging & Payments Working Group during a call aimed at helping one another by exchanging ideas.
